Smart School uses only cookies that are needed for the service to work. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not load third party scripts that set them.
Cookies we use
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite, so scripts on the page cannot read it.
- Refresh cookie: lets you stay signed in without entering your password again on every visit. It is cleared when you sign out.
- Security cookie: protects forms against cross site request forgery.
Other storage on your device
We remember that you have closed the cookie notice using your browser's local storage. It holds no personal data. Exam answers in progress may also be held briefly on your device so they are not lost if the connection drops.
Why we do not ask for consent
The cookies above are strictly necessary to sign in and keep your account safe, so they cannot be switched off without breaking the service. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to refuse them.
